Rules for a Stay in Paradise

Back to Front Page

There are a few rules to follow, when you stay in Petraki:

bulletSmoking and fire-making are totally forbidden from the.1st of May till the 1st of October. This, however, does not apply to the houses and the stone-terraces
bulletYou are yourself responsible for your own security. This also aplies to being at sea.  There are lots of life jackets. Please ask, if you don't see them.
bulletPlease put the toilet paper into the bin. It is Greek standard, and it makes the toilet work year after year to the delight of the owners. It is a challenge to your habits. Be conscious of it.
bulletPlease economize on the water. Turn off the shower while washing with soap.  Turn off the water while brushing your teeth, etc.  But feel free to use the water you think is necessary and enough.  This means: Take a shower, when you feel for it.
bulletPlease, also economize on the water in the toilet. There are 2 buttons to flush, a big one and a small one. Always use the big one to start the flushing. Then use the small one to stop, when it is enough.
bulletPlease don't leave your things lying about. Put them in your room/cabin/tent. There are plenty of lines for wet clothes. Please remember to bring your own bed linen and at least 2 towels. One for fresh water and one for salt water.

Guidance to things making life more pleasant to you and others:

bulletUse shoes, when you walk outside the terraces.
bulletGive a hand, when it is needed. This specially goes for shopping, cooking and doing the dishes.
bulletAllways check, that there is enough fuel on the boats, before you leave. Check, that there are oars on board.
bulletAlways go either directly against the waves to avoid sprays. You can also go along them. This especially applies to the "Skidtfisken".
