The history of Lady M is as follows:

1989 She was build by Siltala wharf in Finland, but the first owners were people working at the wharf. They bought the hull and deck, and had the ambition that she should be better and nicer than the production boats. We think they succeed. The boat was never a ketch, since there was never  a hole in the deck aft.

1994 An american family bought her. They equipped her with a new mast from Hood Spars, and sailed around in the Scandinavian waters for a year and then finally set the course for America.

1997 A man from Spain bought it. His name is

Ramón A. Limiñana
Avda Diagonal 624
08021 Barcelona
Spain

He installed a Vetus Bow propeller, and a much more. Two years after we bought the boat, Ramón sent me an email saying that, if I ever wanted to sell the boat, he would be interested. He had regretted selling the boat.

1999 A dane (Michael Sømod) bought her from Ramón and sailed her to Denmark. He turned out to realize that he was no sea person, so he told, and sold "the Peregrine"  to us and bought a camper instead.

2000 We bought it. In connection with the buying, the VAT question was solved, since Ramón could document the VAT was paid.

Lady M is our first sailing boat ever. So we started sailing around in Denmark at daytime.  Next year we sailed to Stockholm and on our way home, we sailed nighttime for the first time.

We have done extensive changes to the boat documented elsewhere during these years, and in 2004 we sailed her down to Greece all the way through the English channel, the bay of Biscay, the Atlantic sea, Gibraltar, Mallorca, Sicily and finally Greece. We learned a lot from that trip, and we consider us not being beginners any more.

Lady M is now sailing in Greece with its base in Petraki. During the winter, the boat is ashore at a wharf nearby.
